Get to Know the Blogger!

Hey guys! Before we get into this post, thank you all for the love on my recent review! I was extremely nervous when it came to starting this project, and knowing people are enjoying the content makes it all so much better :)! 

 I knew what I wanted this blog to be before I had even started it, in all honesty. I wanted this to be a space where I shared my thoughts and feelings in hopes that somebody else would connect with it. That's why I often categorize my content as “lifestyle”. I wanted to keep it broad so I could post about quite a large span of topics. Reviews, lists, day in the life, etc. My end goal in all of this is to connect with other people! I want my audience to know that everyone is welcome here! Regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, or interest, my corner of the internet is open to all!

Moving forward, who the heck am I? Honestly, I’m just like anyone else you'd meet! I graduated from my high school in June of this year after four treacherous years, spent almost my entire school career performing in live theatre as well as group choruses, and just did everything to the best of my ability. I’m carrying a lot of my passions with me to college, getting a degree in language and literature as well as hopefully a BFA in theatre performance. I’m family-oriented, and I like to think I’m a pretty hard worker, but a gripe that I had when I was starting all of this is that I’m truly not anything special. As I turned the idea over in my head, I began to realize that maybe some people do just want to hear from someone who is like them. Just- average. That's how The World According To Charlie was born! I hope you all love it here as much as I do! And in case you were wondering, I’m a dog person :). 

Now, what can we expect to see on this blog going forward? Well, my next post will be significantly more thought-out and potentially longer. I wanted to post about IKWYDLS while it was still fresh in my mind, but before that, this was what I intended for my first post to be. Just us getting to know one another. I intend to post weekly, or as often as my inspiration hits me. Obviously, I'm quite new to content creation. I’m working hard to learn everything I can about this process, and I am so excited to see where this journey takes me. If there's anything you all would like to see from me, please do let me know in the comments below. I loved reading all the feedback on yesterday's post, and I am so looking forward to chatting with you all going forward. 

Also, something new on the blog! You can find links to my socials on the ‘about’ page! I do plan on posting on those periodically, as well as expanding what platforms you can find me on! Expect to see more changes and updates to our website going forward!
